I'll be completely honest with you: I'm not happy with how this project turned out.
I think it’s important to acknowledge that, which is why I’ve been upfront about it. I cut corners and didn’t give full attention to the details, but I’m okay with that. Not every project is going to be a masterpiece, and it’s essential to come to terms with that reality.
That said, the Petit Crossbone Beargguy was created by kitbashing a Petit’gguy and an SD Crossbone Gundam.
I custom-fitted the mohawk, V-fin, shoulders, backpack, gun, and saber to the Petit’gguy. I also added additional panel lines to the chest and mouthpiece to better replicate the look of the Crossbone Gundam.
The entire piece was painted using Tamiya paints thinned with Mr. Leveling Thinner and then clear-coated with Mr. Super Clear Gloss and Mr. Super Clear Matte. The decal comes from the Crossbone X2 waterslide sheet.
While the Petit Crossbone Beargguy isn’t my best work, it still turned out really cute, and that’s what I was aiming for. I hope you like it regardless!
